Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, as the situation remained grim in the state where more than 100 people have died following heavy downpour over the past six days.
A day after home minister Rajnath Singh's visit to J-K, Modi held a high-level meeting attended by chief minister Omar Abdullah and top officials to take stock of the ground realities.
The official death toll till Saturday evening in state's worst floods in 60 years was 116. Altogether 2,325 villages have been affected, and 350 of them have been submerged.
